Description

Two pannel sections around r-puppis. The region is really full of objects of different types, such as reflection nebulae (really they are stars embedded in nebulosity) VdBH 9a and 9bA (0nly 0.3 minutes of arc), BRAN 124A, dark objects like the cometary globules CG30, 30A, B and C, the WRAY 19-5, the HBC 561and much more.
Looking for information I found this paper with studies on the very same area: "Young Stars near Cometary Globule CG 30 in the Tumultuous Gum Nebula", By Alexandra Yep and Russel White in The Astrophysical Journal, 889:50 (17pp), 2020 January 20.
One interesting star with an associated reflection nebula is VdBH 8b (1.1 minutes of arc), to the right of the HD 69141, even that at this scale appear small, it shows a drastic cut of the nebulosity.
Sizes and magnitudes are from the van den Bergh and Herbst paper, combined with the Rousseau and Perie one, TAJ 80(1975)208 and A&A Suppl 1(1996)517.
